I hate shopping. I hate it so much, and for more reasons than I can express. However, for Christmas I got a $50 T.J. Maxx gift card from Mike's mom. Add to that the fact that it's been a rough week, and that I had to be near the shops anyway, and you get some good old-fashioned retail therapy.
I also figured I should have some new clothes that I can wear for work. At that job I'm still praying I'll get. If nothing else, while I hate shopping, I do love having new things. Especially new pretty things that can be worn with my awesome suede boots.
