Why my hand? Because today I spent hours rolling and cooking homemade gnocchi so I can make soup tomorrow with the turkey/veggie stock I've been letting simmer periodically over the last few days. I'm happiest when I'm doing something with my hands. Sure, I'm a desk person. But there's nothing like doing something that yields an immediate result, something I can feel, to make me feel good about the day.
